The leaves of this exotic first flush 2017 tea belongs to pure AV2 cultivar of the higher altitudes of this garden which is floral and has a woody aromas at first,but the fragrances of sweet flowers transcends and overwhelms the senses. The tea is finely plucked with an excellent sorting as is apparent from the infused leaves and consists of delicately made tea leaves, the major proportion consisting of fine silver tips which are rolled delicately which reflects the craftsmanship and years of experience that is behind the maker of this exotic tea. The aroma of the dry tea leaf is predominantly floral characteristic of AV2 cultivar.
The liquor is bright shade of golden lemony yellow, sweet floral taste which caresses the tip of the tongue covering the entire mouth with a nice sweetness as a aftertaste which linger for along time after the sip. The tea has no astringency. Perfect light tea to be relished as a refreshing tea or as an exotic tea to treat your special guests. Tastes better as the liquor cools.
For a cup (200ml) a tea spoonful (2gm) is advised. Cool the already boiled water to around 95ºC (203ºF) . Steep for about 5 to 6 minutes with the lid covered over the steeping vessel. Strain and serve hot.
